Opening of Alyarmok Champions Tournament

Under the patronage of the Deanship of Alyarmok University College, the Student Activities Division, in cooperation with the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and in the presence of Professor Dr. Zakaria Mutlak Al-Douri, opened this Saturday morning, November 29, 2025, the Alyarmok Champions Tournament in a distinguished atmosphere that reflects the spirit of competition and commitment.
The opening ceremony began with the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha for the souls of Iraq’s martyrs, followed by the playing of the national anthem, which added a moment of pride and honor for all attendees.
The match was between the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences team and the English Language Department team, and the match ended with the victory of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences team (4-0).
The event witnessed wide student attendance, reflecting the great interest in sports activities and supporting talents. This tournament comes within the framework of extracurricular activities that enhance team spirit and belonging within the college.
